Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE
The Xiaomi has officially released the Redmi Pad SE in the Philippines. It features an 11-inch display with adaptive 90Hz refresh, 8000mAh battery, and equips the Snapdragon 680 SoC. The chipset is a Snapdragon 680, built on the 6 nm process technology. It is a fairly old platform, as it arrived in early 2021, but we don't expect a powerhouse in this price category. In fact, this could be a great SoC for the Redmi Pad SE – we'll know for sure once we go through our regular tests and benchmarks. Our first impressions from the performance are the UI is smooth, and the 90 Hz could prove itself worthy when browsing or using the native player.
Xiaomi introduced MIUI Pad 14, which is an adapted version of MIUI 14 for big screens. Тhe apps feel native and not stretched; video also looks good. The 11” LCD is certified for low blue light, meaning it would be a great device for reading and learning. In theory, it can reach 400 nits and 1500:1 contrast, but once again, we have to use our own tools to determine how authentic these results are in real-life scenarios.
There are four speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support, placed 2x2 on the right and left side (when held horizontally), and we are quite happy to see a 3.5 mm audio jack. The battery has an 8,000 mAh capacity, which sounds promising for an endurance test. However, it is rated for 10W, meaning it would take some time for the cell to get from 0 to 100% with the charger provided in the box.
Tecno Camon 20s Pro 5G
The TECNO CAMON 20s Pro 5G is a mid-range smartphone that runs Android 13 and HiOS 13 and is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8020 CPU and Mali-G77 GPU. The gadget has an internal storage of 256GB and RAM of 8GB.
It comes with a triple-rear camera setup of 64MP + 2MP + 2MP and a single 32MP selfie camera. The display is 6.67 inches AMOLED while the screen resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels.
It also supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). It is fueled with a 5000mAh battery + 33w wired charging. The sensors include a fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, etc.
Xiaomi Redmi 12
The Xiaomi Redmi 12 is targeted at the entry-level segment, the Redmi 12 sports a design reminiscent of the Redmi Note 12 family. Featuring a plastic build with a sleek matte finish. It is available in three color options: blue, white, and black.
The smartphone boasts a 6.79-inch LCD panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The front camera, an 8-megapixel lens for stunning selfies. It’s discreetly tucked within a small hole at the top of the screen.
Notably, the Redmi 12’s primary camera system includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary camera equipped with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Powering the Redmi 12 is the MediaTek Helio G88 processor. It’s a chip based on older generations but still built on a 6-nanometer process. It comprises eight cores, including two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.8 GHz.
The device offers two configuration options. 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. Regardless of the choice, users can enjoy a robust 5000 mAh battery complemented by an 18 W charging system. Operating on Android 12, the smartphone comes with the latest version of Xiaomi’s customized user interface, MIUI 14.
Honor 90 Lite 5G
The Honor 90 Lite – a mid-range smartphone from the renowned Honor brand. The first of its kind, it is set to revolutionize the market with its top-tier specs and design. As part of the Honor 90 series, other models include the Honor 90 5G and the Honor 90 Pro.
The device’s design features a stunning glass back with a 6.7-inch LCD IPS screen and a resolution of 1080x2388 (FHD+). Additionally, it has an impressive 89.2% usable surface area.
The Honor 90 Lite is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset based on a 4nm technology. Its 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of storage help to keep the phone running smoothly, while its AnTuTu v9 score of 320000 ensures that all the latest games and apps can be run without any issues.
When it comes to photography, the Honor 90 Lite is equipped with a triple camera, consisting of a 64.0MP standard lens with an f/1.8 aperture, a 5.0MP ultrawide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2.0MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone sports a 16.0MP CMOS sensor with an f/2.45 aperture.

Realme 11 Pro 5G
The Realme 11 Pro 5G shares the same Premium Vegan Leather rear panel, something that stands out especially if you get this Sunrise Beige color. This 3D Woven Texture is an industry-first, and to me, this looks like one of those luxury clothing pieces, a shirt to be specific, with a golden zipper in the middle.
The design really shines, even when you put on the case, and is complimented by the copper-finish on the sides, top and bottom. Thanks to curved sides, it also feels great to hold, though I am a bit concerned that the rear panel can easily catch dirt or stains. Now, onto the other side of the coin. There is no specified waterproofing, no expandable storage, and no headphone jack. You do, however, get a pair of speakers. You also get the same display as the Pro+ – a 6.7 FHD+ 120Hz Curved OLED screen that supports HDR10+. That means deep black and rich colors that should make your binge-watching sessions a visual treat.

The Oppo Reno 10 5G, comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2412 pixels (FHD+) at a pixel density of 394 pixels per inch (ppi). Oppo Reno 10 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Oppo Reno 10 5G runs Android 13 and is powered by a 4600mAh battery. Xiaomi usually announces Redmi phones by the bucket, so we would totally understand if you've lost track which one is which. There are four Redmi Note 12 phones for the global markets - two standard and two Pro models. We've already reviewed the most premium of the quartet - the Pro+ with a 200MP camera and 120W charging, so today it is time to meet the regular Redmi Note 12 Pro.
The highlights of the mainstream Pro model include a Dolby Vision OLED, fast performance, a 50MP OIS primary camera, and fast 67W charging. This Redmi Note 12 Pro should be the cheapest smartphone to offer the complete Dolby package - Vision and Atmos.

The Oppo A78 4G is powered by Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G Octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU. The device runs on Android 13 + ColorOS 13.1 operating system. The device is packed with 8 GB RAM with 256 GB internal storage, which can be increased with microSDXC.
Oppo A78 4G consists of a dual-camera setup: 50 MP (wide) + 2 MP (depth) sensors. On the front, there is an 8 MP (wide) camera for clicking selfies. The size of the display is 6.43 inches AMOLED while the screen resolution is 720 x 1612 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
