Huawei MatePad SE LTE
The Huawei MatePad SE is a tablet that features a large 10.4-inch 2K display, stereo dual speakers with surround sound, 5 Megapixel rear camera, and 2 Megapixel front camera.
It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and HarmonyOS 3 with split-screen, multi-window, and stackable widgets. There’s also dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and expandable storage.
A 5,100mAh battery powers the device with support for a 10W charging rate via USB Type-C.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A8
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2022) is a mid-range tablet that features a large 10.5-inch display, quad speakers with Dolby ATMOS surround sound and a long-lasting 7040mAh battery.
It runs on a UNISOC Tiger T618 chipset with 4GB of RAM, Android 11 OS, and either 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage. It’s also equipped with an 8 Megapixel camera at the back and a 5 Megapixel front camera.
There’s support for 15W fast charging and 4G LTE connectivity via a single SIM card slot for the LTE version. It’s a slim tablet at just 6.9mm in thickness and comes in three color choices: dark gray, silver, and pink gold.
Huawei Matepad Refresh 10.4
The design is very identical to last year’s MatePad 10.4. It still has an all-aluminum frame in a matte finish, although it still attracts fingerprints. I find it even harder to clean compared to a glossy finish, so use a protective case if you are planning to buy this device. It’s sturdy, though, and feels like something that won’t bend easily. You don’t have color options though as it only comes in Midnight Grey.
When it comes to the display, it’s got a 10.4-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 or 225ppi. The colors are accurate and natural, with just the right amount of saturation.
Huawei MatePad 11
The Huawei MatePad 11 is also packed with several productivity features. These include Huawei Share for interconnectivity with other gadgets; support for a keyboard, mouse, and Huawei M-Pencil stylus; and a more flexible multi-window system. It also received dual certification from TÜV Rheinland for its low blue light level and flicker-free display.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset with 6GB of RAM, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a 7,250mAh battery that supports up to 22.5W fast charging technology. There’s also a 13 Megapixel rear camera and 8 Megapixel selfie camera.
