Xiaomi Redmi Note 12
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 (also known as Redmi Note 12 4G) is a "bang-for-the-buck" smartphone that features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate, 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear cameras, and a 13 Megapixel selfie camera. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset with either 4GB, 6GB or 8GB of RAM, Android 13 OS, and the MIUI 14 interface. There's also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Infrared remote control function, and 128GB of expdandable storage. A large 5,000mAh battery powers the device with support for 33W fast charging technology via USB type-C.
Realme C55
The Realme C55 is a "budget-friendly" smartphone that features a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate, 64MP + 2MP dual rear cameras, and an 8MP selfie camera. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, Android 13 OS, and realme UI 4.0 interface with the new "mini-capsule" dynamic notification system on the camera punch-hole. There's also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, and expandable storage up to 1TB. A large 5,000mAh battery powers the device with support for up to 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology via USB type-C.
Xiaomi Pad 5
Design-wise, the Xiaomi Pad 5 sure doesn’t look like a plain ordinary tablet. Its style is edgy with a smooth frosted back and a square camera module with curved edges that takes its looks from the brand’s Mi 11 series—mostly the Mi 11 Lite. The unit we have is in the Pearl White color which reflects some somewhat sunset hues from different angles.
It looks clean, modern, and it’s nice that it doesn’t attract a lot of fingerprint smudges. Still, we suggest placing a case on so the camera module doesn’t wobble the device when placed on flat surfaces. It’s also available in a darker Cosmic Gray version if you’re interested.
